Maverick

On February 22nd, 1994 I found myself on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee, on the site of Amy Grant’s ranch photographing the making of the music video for the theme song from the movie “Maverick” starring Mel Gibson and James Garner. The video was a “who’s who” of country music stars interacting before and after the actual shoot. This photograph was taken during the shoot with Reba McEntire and James Garner talking between takes.

At various times during the day, artists would head to the barn, where a recording stidio was located, to sing their parts.
